Dr Rhidima Gupta in Dil Mil Gaye

I have written article on Dr Armaan Malik in Dil Mil Gaye, but actually Dr Armaan Malik is not complete without his counterpart, Dr Rhidima Gupta. In Sanjivani the serial which is the mother of Dil Mil Gaye, The Dr. Shashank Gupta was one of the main characters. In sanjivani part two that is Dil Mil Gaye; Dr Shashank Gupta is in one of the lead role as Dean of the hospital sanjivani. He has two daughters one is Dr Anjali and other is Dr Rhidima about whom we will talk here in this article to actually complete the pair Dr Armaan and Dr Rhidima.

Rhidima was shown as a naughty but very senior girl, who doesn’t like tom boy type boys like Armaan. And the first many episodes the fight between the main pair is shown, this is the funniest and most lovely parts of the serial. Along with these two many other love stories flown around the air. The first to fall in love was off course Armaan, who started liking Rhidima after many episodes. And then the show was how the fight turned to the love, and finally the Rhidima knew the feelings of her towards Arman. How the story will produce now, Past of armaan and confusions arises between them, again love and hate relation. Few new interns were introduced here like Rahul and Muskan, they were good. After all this they brought a twist in the story by arranging Arman and Rhidima Engagement. The engagement happened, and in accident Armaan loses his memory. He don’t remember the armaan and rhidima story now, now its turn to show rhidima her love towards armaan. After many episodes and love fights, at the end rhidima wins armaan and they get ready to marry. How a serial will go if the lead pair will marry each other, both get shot.

We literally thought that they want to armaan and rhidima out that’s why this plot and new promos of interns were floating around.  And that was true rhidima was out for 3 months and armaan for 6 months. Rhidima came back, started fighting with one intern Sid, and one they for some mysterious disease they fall for each other and rhidima marries to Sid. Everybody was UN liking this Sidima story and wanted Ar back. And few days back armaan came back in serial, and he doesn’t know about the Sidima marriage, and now he is fighting for his love. Story is getting more and more interesting now.

We have seen rhidima changed three times in the course of the serial

1)      Shilpa Anand: The cute of all lived for 2-300 episodes. She was best; she gave this show a great audience and stardom.

2)      Shruti Khandpal: The second and worst rhidima, nobody liked her.

3)      Jennifer Winget: The third and ongoing rhidima, she is cute and people have started liking her like Shilpa.
